Mt Cooke is a bit strenuous but I ima...Hi Dr Cat, <br /><br />Mt Cooke is a bit strenuous but I imagine adventurous kids who have experience with walking up a small mountain should have no problem with this walk. I've seen young families do the overnight hike in to the campsite near Mt Cooke and they've been able to manage it. <br /><br />The summer is a bigger problem due to the fire danger.
