Lewis Road Walk (Mundy Regional Park)

A short but occasionally steep walk in the Perth Hills, the Lewis Road Walk provides a lovely loop through Munday Regional Park. Crossing Whistlepipe Gully and passing through some excellent stands of Wandoo, the loop's ascents are rewarded by stunning views across the Swan Coastal Plain and the beautiful Regional Parklands. Intersecting with the Whistlepipe Gully Walk, this trail offers an excellent alternate view of the same landscape.

Lion's Lookout (Korung National Park)

A short but hilly walk in the Perth Hills, the Lion's Lookout walk provides outstanding views of the Swan Coastal Plain. Largely following old, steep vehicle tracks through delightful Wandoo woodlands, this pleasant and scenic trail would be even more spectacular in springtime due to the prevalence of flowering heath further along the walk. A good short option in the Perth Hills area.

Channel 10 Tower Walk (Korung National Park)

An extremely short and easy walk, the Channel 10 Tower Walk takes walkers into a section of Korung National Park while exploring the bushland surrounding the Channel 10 broadcasting tower. A shaded forest walk that passes dumped cars, bulldozed trees and the massive broadcasting tower accompanied by the sound of cars and dirt bikes not far away, this is one of the Shire of Kalamunda's least essential trails

Bibbulmun Track (WA) - Mt Wells to Inglehope Rail Crossing

The final day of a three day hike on the Bibbulmun Track, Mt Wells to Inglehope Rail Crossing is arguably the least spectacular day of walking between North Bannister and Dwellingup. After descending from Mt Wells, the track mainly utilises old roads to traverse pleasant but samey Jarrah forest all the way to the railway crossing - although the stunning campsite at Chadoora is a lovely spot for a relaxing break.

Bibbulmun Track (WA) - White Horse Hills to Mt Wells

Day two of a three day hike on the Bibbulmun Track, White Horse Hills to Mt Wells is another enjoyable day of walking. Starting in the White Horse Hills, the track traverses a rugged granite-dominated ridge to reach a beautiful gnamma pool on the southern summit. Descending to pleasant forest walking before rising to Mt Wells, the old fire lookout tower and towermen's hut make for a unique overnight experience.

Bibbulmun Track (WA) - Wearne Rd to White Horse Hills

Day 1 of a three day hike on the Bibbulmun Track, this highly enjoyable section takes hikers across Albany Hwy to the White Horse Hills area. Initially passing a blue gum plantation, the trail rises to spectacular 360° views from Boonerring Hill. Easy forest walking follows before rising up to the White Horse Hills campsite. Featuring spectacular views and pleasant walking, this is a very good section of the track.
