Bunker Bay Loop (Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park)


An enjoyable short loop at Cape Naturaliste, the Bunker Bay Loop explores the interesting north-facing coastline of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge. Heading from the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse car park, the trail heads along the coastal cliffs with views to sea caves as a major highlight. Culminating in a short side trip to stunning views of Shelley Cove and Bunker Bay, this is a great all-year short walk option

Penguin Island Boardwalk Trail (Penguin Island Conservation Park)


One of Trails WA's Top Trails, the Penguin Island Boardwalk Trail explores its namesake island. Starting at the ferry jetty, the trail heads across boardwalks to a lookout point at its highest point before reaching the western beaches and a popular snorkel point. Heading back across the island, the boardwalk leads to a series of caves and the Penguin Discovery Centre. A very short but enjoyable walk worth doing if in the area

Three Bays Walkway (Green Head)


A short but pleasant walk trail, the Three Bay Walkway links up several bays in Green Head. Starting at Anchorage Bay, the trail follows sealed paths to excellent lookout points and the beautiful beaches of the area. Centred on the excellent Dynamite Bay, the trail ends at the Cliff Park Memorial Garden and the wide, calm waters of South Bay. An enjoyable coastal walk suitable for all times of the year

Mt Buffalo Circuit (Mt Buffalo National Park)


A excellent circuit walk in Mt Buffalo National Park, the Mt Buffalo Circuit explores the rugged granite country, forests and alpine meadows of the park. Generally mellow but occastionally steep, the track features outstanding side trips to three great lookouts at granite peaks. A highly enjoyable if slightly overgrown track, the Mt Buffalo Circuit is a great all day walk for road trippers exploring Great Alpine Rd

Eurobin Falls (Mt Buffalo National Park)


A short but beautiful walk in Mt Buffalo National Park, the Eurobin Falls walk takes hikers to two excellent waterfalls along the lower slopes of Mt Buffalo. Heading past granite boulders and lovely forest, the trail passes the smaller Ladies Bath Fall and its swimming hole before visiting the epic Lower and Upper Eurobin Falls. Far from an epic or serious hike, this is nevertheless a worthwhile short walk to check out while in the area

Lake St Clair Short Walks (Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park)


A combination of three shorter trails, the Lake St Clair Short Walks combine the last stretch of the Overland to Riversmeet, the Platypus Bay Loop and the Larmairremener tabelti in a figure 8 loop. Featuring pleasant forest walking, highlights include the view at Riversmeet, the platypus hide along Lake St Clair and the beautiful section along the Hugel River. Recommended as an easy option for walking in the Lake St Clair area

Cradle Mountain Summit (Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park)


Arguably Australia's most famous mountain, the track to Cradle Mountain is considered one of Tasmania's Great Day Walks. Starting at Dove Lake, the most pleasant route passes Lake Lilla and the beautiful Wombat Pool before rising up to Marions Lookout and Kitchen Hut via the Overland.
