Ngank Wen Bidi (Rottnest Island)

The most remote section of the Wadjemup Bidi trail network on Rottnest, the Ngank Wen Bidi explores the wild and rugged western end of the island. Starting at Narrow Neck, the trail explores pristine beaches before reaching the outstanding lookouts at Cathedral Rocks and Fish Hook Bay. Let down slightly by a less exciting second half, the excellent qualities of this trail still make it a must do

Part of the Wadjemup Bidi trail network on Rottnest, the Ngank Yira Bidi explores the Bickley Bay area of the island. Starting at the Settlement, the trail explores the World War II heritage of the island by taking walkers to a series of Batteries and bunkers used as part of Australia's naval defence. Culminating with the massive guns of Oliver Hill, this is one of the best heritage trails in WA

Karlinyah Bidi (Rottnest Island)
Posted on 20:00 by AlissaandDon
The shortest trail of the Wadjemup Bidi trails network, the Karlinyah Bidi explores the northern beaches of Rottnest Island. Starting at the Rocky Bay, follows the coast through a number of secluded bays, reefs and a spectacularly rugged limestone shelf as it makes it way to Little Armstrong Bay. Conveniently located near bus stops, this is a more challenging but compact walk on the island

One of Trails WA's Top Trails, the Gabbi Karniny Bidi explore the salt lakes of Rottnest Island. Starting at the Thomson Bay Settlement, the trail heads inland through Rottnest's beautiful lakes system, before exploring popular beaches like Geordie Bay, The Basin and Pinky Beach as it makes it's way along the north-eastern coastline. The most convenient of the Wadjemup Bidi network's trails, this is a must do walk while on the island
