Palm Terrace Walk (Mundy Regional Park)

One of the Shire of Kalamunda's trails, the Palm Terrace Walk provides a loop walk around Lesmurdie Falls. Starting near the foot of the falls, the trail's loop through Wandoo Woodlands to the area above the falls, crossing Lesmurdie Brook near a series of lovely cascades. While pleasant enough, the trail is let down by its inexplicable avoidance of Lesmurdie Falls itself.

Lewis Road Walk (Mundy Regional Park)

A short but occasionally steep walk in the Perth Hills, the Lewis Road Walk provides a lovely loop through Munday Regional Park. Crossing Whistlepipe Gully and passing through some excellent stands of Wandoo, the loop's ascents are rewarded by stunning views across the Swan Coastal Plain and the beautiful Regional Parklands. Intersecting with the Whistlepipe Gully Walk, this trail offers an excellent alternate view of the same landscape.

Whistlepipe Gully Walk (Mundy Regional Park)

A short but consistently excellent trail in Mundy Regional Park, this walk follows Whistlepipe Gully in the Perth Hills. Along it 3.5 kilometre length, the trail follows the gully as it courses over cascades and small waterfalls, memorably passing through the ruins of a house built right on the gully's edge. A miniature, dog-friendly version of Serpentine's Kitty's Gorge, this is one of Perth's best shorter trails.
